Lloyds Banking Group has strengthened its leadership in strategic alliances with the appointment of Frances Cassidy as its new Head of Strategic and Technology Partnerships.
Cassidy joins Lloyds from Barclays, where she previously served as Head of Mortgage Intermediary Partnerships, bringing with her two decades of experience across the UK financial services sector.
Her appointment comes as Lloyds continues to focus on innovation and collaboration to enhance its offerings in the mortgage and intermediary markets. Cassidy’s extensive background includes overseeing national accounts strategy and leading teams across the Barclays and Kensington brands.
She has also held senior roles at Chelsea Building Society, Principality Building Society, Countrywide, and Kensington Mortgages.
Cassidy is set to join Lloyds Banking Group in the summer, reporting directly to Esther Dijkstra, Managing Director for Intermediaries. She expressed enthusiasm for her new role, highlighting the opportunity to drive innovation and work closely with strategic partners to deliver exceptional experiences for both mortgage customers and intermediaries.
Cassidy described joining Lloyds as a privilege and looks forward to contributing to the group’s ambitious vision for the future.
Esther Dijkstra welcomed the appointment, emphasizing Cassidy’s deep industry knowledge and her potential to further strengthen the leadership team. Dijkstra noted that Cassidy’s expertise will be instrumental in helping Lloyds innovate and grow as the group continues to prioritize the UK housing market and digital transformation.
This move underscores Lloyds Banking Group’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships and maintaining its leadership in the evolving financial services landscape.
