Lucy Markovic, a rising star in the international fashion industry and former contestant on Australia’s Next Top Model, has tragically passed away at the age of 27 following complications from a rare brain condition.
The news was confirmed on April 10, 2025, by her family and modelling agency, Elite Model Management, who described her as a “bright shining light” in their heartfelt tributes.
Markovic had been battling a brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a rare and complex condition involving tangled blood vessels that disrupt normal blood flow between arteries and veins in the brain.
